Seven Review – Partially Engaging!

Havish-starrer thriller film 'Seven' trailer has got a good response. After watching the trailer, people waited eagerly for the film’s release, especially, suspense film lovers. Finally, Seven has released today and let’s see how the film is!

Cast: Havish, Regina, Nandita Swetha, Anisha Ambrose, Aditi Arya, Tridha Chaudhary, Pujita Ponnada, Rahman and others.

Seven Movie Story:
Ramya (Nandita Swetha), a techie in an IT company, complaints to police on her husband Karthik’s (Havish) missing. During the investigation, the inspector (Rahman) identifies that the Karthik-Ramya story is similar to Jenny’s story. While the investigation is happening, another speech impaired girl (Aditi Arya), too, files a similar complaint in Chennai.

After this, the inspector understands that Karthik is cheating girls under the name of love and marriage. Giving a big twist, Karthik himself surrenders to police and says he is innocent.

And then Priya (Tridha) files a similar complaint in Mumbai. Now, flashback episode is on. A triangle love story between Krishna Murthy (Havish), Saraswathi (Regina) and Bhanu (Pujita) is showcased. The suspense is all about the ‘Seventh’ person and how Krishna Murthy and Saraswathi’s story is connected to Karthik and all other girls.

The suspense in the story and the flashback episode are interesting. How one girl’s story is connected to the other is engaging. Multiple personality disorder, mistaken identity, and doppelganger will increase the interest in the film. But the director’s slow pace narration is the biggest drawback. There are a few unwanted songs which spoil the experience of a thriller. The screenplay is average. Cinematography is good.

Verdict: Seven is a thriller film which has enough twists but irritates audience through its slow narration. If you have a love for thriller films, giving it a try is not a bad idea!
