Wow – This Movie Joins 100 Crore List!

Movies collecting more than 100 crores is not that easy as it takes a lot of time, hard work and dedication of the movie team.

Now, Bollywood film, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer, Kesari has joined 100 crore club in its first week.

“Kesari which was released on 21 March is the fastest Rs 100 crore grosser of 2019 so far,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed.

On day 1, Kesari collected Rs 21 crore at the box office and further rose to Rs 56.51 crore by day 3. By the first weekend, it had earned Rs 78.07 crore.

Kesari has overcome the big film ‘Gully Boy’. It is also Akshay Kumar's second-biggest opener after Gold.

Kesari is a period war film about the Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 valiant Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army fought against 10,000 Afghans.

Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the nation known for his non-violence revolt against the British rule. It was January 30 th , 1948 when he had his last breath.
