Modi’s Joke on Dyslexia Faced Criticism
Prime Minister Narendra Modi faced serious criticism on social media on Sunday after his video in which he cracked a joke on Dyslexia went viral.
The Prime Minister made the joke during an interaction with thousands of students who were participating in a competition to find technology-driven solutions for issues related to women and children.
Though the program is live, Modi Ji didn’t care about the people watching, and cracked an indecent joke which has given a chance for the opposition to fume him live!
An engineering student from Dehradun explained about a program that helps dyslexic children who face reading and writing difficulties to our PM.
She said "We have an idea to help dyslexic children, whose pace of learning and writing is very slow. But they have a high intelligence and creativity level as you have seen in the movie Taare Zameen Par..."
Modi interrupting the student, asking "Will this program work for a 40-50-year-old child too?" for which students laughed.
After girl replying “yes sir,” Modi not stopping with this, asked, “Then that will make the mothers of such children very happy.” This made students again laugh understanding his criticism.
But this hasn’t gone well with the opposition and various political leaders. They started blaming Modi for his insensitive behavior.
