India successfully tested an anti-satellite (A-Sat) missile to destroy an orbiting satellite at an altitude of almost 300 KM on Wednesday, jettisoning its longstanding reluctance to flex military muscle in space. The Ramappa group of temples , which were constructed in 1213 CE, was commissioned by Recharla Rudra, who was the army head under king Ganapatideva of the Kakatiya dynasty. The temples were built around a large artificial lake, which was constructed to serve as water resources for irrigation. The Kakatiyas were well known for building many such tanks, which changed vast areas of their arid kingdom (modern Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) into fertile tracts, thus showing administrative ingenuity and governing skills of this dynasty. Now, Bollywood film, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer, Kesari has joined 100 crore club in its first week. “Kesari which was released on 21 March is the fastest Rs 100 crore grosser of 2019 so far,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed. On day 1, Kesari collected Rs 21 crore at the box office and further rose to Rs 56.51 crore by day 3. By the first weekend, it had earned Rs 78.07 crore. Kesari has overcome the big film ‘ Gully Boy ’. It is also Akshay Kumar's second-biggest opener after Gold. After thousands of duped homebuyers, it is now former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni who has knocked at the doors of the Supreme Court against the Amrapali group, seeking the courts' intervention to get around Rs 40 crore from the group for using his services for branding and marketing activities for six years. Dhoni entered into various agreements with the Amrapali group in 2009 to promote the company as its brand ambassador and granted exclusive rights to the builder to use his endorsement in marketing and public relation activities. He remained associated with the group for around six years but parted ways in 2016 after duped homebuyers launched a social media campaign against the cricketer for promoting the company. His wife was also associated with the charity operations of the group. As the Supreme Court is hearing the plea of around 46000 homebuyers against the group for cheating them by not delivering the flats and has ordered attachment of all its properties
