Underworld don Ravi Pujari has been arrested in Senegal by the police following a tip-off by Indian investigative agencies. Ravi Pujari is wanted in India for a number of cases including extortion, kidnapping, and murder. He was mentored by gangster Chotta Rajan. Pujari was arrested on January 22 from Dakar and the Indian embassy was informed on January 26. Last year, Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani had filed a police complaint alleging that Ravi Pujari had threatened to kill him. He also threatened many Bollywood celebrities including Mahesh Bhatt and Farah Khan. Mumbai police arrested Akash Shetty, an aide of Pujari last week. After the arrest of a top aide, Dasrath Shinde in July 2017 Pujari’s extortion cartel resumed operations in the past few months. Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his debut in Kollywood with Rajinikanth’s film ‘Petta’ and it is still running successfully in Tamil Nadu. He grabbed a lot of attention for his performance as a psychopathic villain Singaram. In a recent interview, Nawazuddin shared about his experience while working with Rajini. He said that he liked the performance of Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi in the movie. “Rajinikanth is a superstar but he did only what director asks him to do. It is a great thing”, he said. Federal agents from the Homeland Security Investigations unit used a fake university ‘University of Farmington’ to find non-immigrants who are staying in the United States illegally. The university is being used by foreign citizens as a "pay-to-stay" scheme which allows them to stay in the United States.   Though they say they were enrolled as full-time students in an institution that was certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program , each of the registered members wouldn’t attend any classes or any other educational activities. There is no staff in this institution from February 2017 until earlier this month, undercover agents posed as owners and employees of the university. It is also said that every student knew the university's programs were not approved by Homeland Security and that it was illegal.
